Swimming across the Gulf of Mexico

Can a human swim across the Gulf of Mexico? I bet one day someone tries and succeeds. I had a dream about this, but then I woke up and remembered that although I’m a good swimmer, I’m not that good!

In the Gulf of Mexico, we all know that the water temperatures are warm enough not to worry about hypothermia, and a person would be able to swim with these issues. Of course they will need some high-tech equipment and here are some ideas; When they’re ready for bed after days of swimming, they press a button on their swimsuit, transform into a raft, and set up their GPS so they know how far they’ve come.

When they are done sleeping they can press another button and the raft will collapse back into their swimming trunks. Perhaps you think that this technology does not exist? But they do exist and can be easily modified so that anyone can swim across the Gulf of Mexico.

What about sharks say? Well, there could be a solar-powered unit on your swimming trunks, which would sense the sharks and when necessary send out an electrical impulse to make them disappear. This technology also exists.

Who would try to swim across the Gulf of Mexico? Well, someone actually swam from Cuba to Key West Florida that’s almost 90 miles. A French man in a canoe rows across the Pacific Ocean. There were people who ran all over Australia and people who ran all over the United States. One day some super Olympic-caliber athletes with stamina and endurance will actually try to swim across the Gulf of Mexico. It is likely that this will happen in our lifetime and we will witness this event.
